Statement of Faith

We believe the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.  We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, having been conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.  We believe that all people by nature are separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a real experience at or after salvation, with scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, Galatians 3:14-15).  We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. Amen.
